Are you reducing salt content in your products?
The majority of our products don't use salt and when it is used it is as a flavouring or preservative. None of our products is considered to contribute significantly to the total salt (or sodium) intake in the diet but we do understand people's concerns about this issue and that is why we are committed to offering practical solutions wherever possible.
We will continue working to minimise the sodium content in our new products and reviewing our recipes for existing products. Our aim is to reduce sodium levels in our confectionery products in the UK by 5-10% within 2 to 4 years.
