Recognising Employees

Chairman's Award for employee community involvement

We encourage and support our employees to get involved in community activities. Their achievements are recognised through initiatives such as the Chairman's Award.

This award for employee community involvement recognises outstanding examples of community service around the world. The winner receives a trophy and shares a cash donation with the runners up for their respective good causes. Liliane from Cadbury Middle East topped the 2007 Chairman's Awardsopens in a new window for her dedication to the Lebanese Red Cross, providing medical emergency transport, care and treatment in times of peace and war..

Big Heart Awards

Recognising the effort volunteers put in is important to Cadbury UK and their annual Big Heart Awards are a great way to achieve this. There are seven categories of award and nominations are received from all UK sites. Prize-winners receive certificates and a cash donation to charity.

Cadbury South Africa have similar awards and recognise those employees involved in the community at their monthly team briefings.

Cadbury Wedel in Poland have also developed their own award scheme - From The Heart.
