Skills and Experience:
Amit has over nineteen years experience in the consumer goods industry, having held a number of board and leadership level positions with Cadbury and Procter & Gamble in India, mainland China, South East Asia, Australia & New Zealand, Japan, Singapore and Hong Kong. He joined Cadbury in 2004, as the Regional Finance Director of the Asia Pacific region with responsibility for Finance, IT, M&A and strategy and was on the board of directors of Cadbury's subsidiaries in Australia, India, China, Malaysia, Thailand and Japan. He has worked on a number of transactions including the acquisition of the Sansei business in Japan and the disposal of the Australian beverages business. In 2008, he was appointed to his current position of President for the Pacific region, with P&L responsibility for Cadbury's operations in Australia, New Zealand and Japan. He is also the Chairman of Cadbury Australia.
Prior to joining Cadbury, Amit spent over fourteen years with Procter & Gamble in a number of leadership roles including Finance Director for P&Gs' Asia Pacific Beauty Care category, Finance Director for P&G's Asia Pacific Detergent category and CFO of P&G India.
