Bournvita Logo

BOURN-VITA was launched in the UK in 1932 and subsequently launched in India in 1948, the year Cadbury-Fry (India) was founded as a private limited company.  It was then launched in Nigeria in 1960.  It is no longer produced for the UK market, but is going from strength to strength in India and Nigeria.

Bournvita is a cocoa based food drink beverage that you mix with water and/or milk to make a hot or cold chocolatey drink. It is full of vitamins and minerals that help children grow strong and healthy. The Brands’ major targets are growing children aged between 2 – 14 years. It is very popular across the social spectrum and is available in different packaging formats from cans to single - serve sachets.

The brand has been an enduring symbol of mental and physical health in both India and Nigeria since its launch. It is hardly surprising then, that Bournvita enjoys a major presence in the Malt Food market. In India it has a market share of 17% and it’s Cadbury Nigeria’s flagship brand.
