Training

We take considerable time and effort to create a flexible, inspirational graduate scheme. One that provides our new recruits with the kind of training and development that will truly maximise their potential.

Manager meeting with graduate imageOne thing you'll notice is that the training is very unique. Rather than adopt a 'one size fits all' approach, we offer graduates a specially-tailored, individual development path. That means, as soon as you're offered a place on the scheme, you'll be allocated a real vacancy, with real-time challenges, right at the heart of the business. You'll also work with your line manager to create a personal development plan that will build on your strengths and identify any specific training needs.

Many of our courses (such as presentation training), are run out of Cadbury itself. Not only is this a convenient way to learn - it's also brilliant for meeting people across the business. If there's any extra training we can't cater for, we'll arrange for you to attend an external course. We also offer support towards professional qualifications such as CIMA and the CIPD.

Two months after you've settled in, you'll have the chance to attend our main graduate induction, where you'll be given a guide to aid your development. In one of the events you'll get to meet members of our Britain and Ireland Leadership Team, who'll be sharing their views on different business areas and discussing our culture and team values.

On-going training includes a 'self-awareness' programme where you'll get feedback from peers, which forms the basis of any fresh training needs. We'll also encourage you to learn from a series of mentors, who will guide and motivate you. However, the great thing about Cadbury is that your development can be progressed and controlled by you. We'll help you as much as we can, but ultimate success will be down to your own drive and determination. After your first job, you'll be planning for the next one. After your first year, you'll be looking ahead to an exciting, dazzling future.
